The Nativity Church Sacristans take care of preparing for the celebration of the Mass by setting up the altar for the Priest with the Chalice, the wine, the water and the host. In addition, we set up the Gospel and lectionary for the readings. We have Sacristans (currently 13) for both English snd Spanish Masses. The Sacristans prepare what is needed for the Usher's, altar servers and Eucharistic Ministers. Our Sacristans also serve at weddings, funerals, baptisms and all sacraments (Confirmation, First Holy Communion). We are an essential part to all services as we assist our Priests and Deacons in serving the congregation.
