This ministry provides an opportunity for parishioners who are licensed lawyers in good standing with the State Bar of Florida, to share a small portion of their time and talent by volunteering to answer our parishioners' legal questions, without cost or charge of any kind.
Each consultation will be allowed 30-45 minutes. The discussions are confidential. These consultations are not intended to establish a future, on-going attorney-client relationship. It is however, an opportunity to get some of your initial legal questions answered at no cost to you.
In partnership with four Licensed Counselors, Nativity offers access to counseling. Both English and Spanish speaking counselors are available. There is a fee per session. Some counselors do accept insurance.
Please contact Pastoral Care to request one of our counselors to contact you.
Once a funeral has been scheduled through the Church Office, the volunteers that serve in this ministry help families after the death of a loved one.
Through this ministry, the volunteer guides the family through the process of picking out readings, music and those they wish to take part in the funeral mass itself, such as readers or speakers. They also answer any questions the family may have and help to assist with special requests.
The loss of a loved one is one of life's most stressful events and can cause emotional crisis. Our support group is available to those who have experienced a loss and are searching for a safe, caring environment where they can walk with others in similar situations.
Please check the parish calendar or call Pastoral Care for the meeting schedule.
