Women's Guild


 

All women are welcome!  Join the best circle for you!  The general guild provides prayer and support for the five individual circles. 

St. Francis Circle – is service-oriented by helping organizations, individuals, or families in need. Fundraiser: our "Pecan Sale" held in the Fall. We also sponsor the Annual Blessing of the Animals, and crochet or quilt lap robes for Nursing Home patients. We always welcome new members! We meet the first Tuesday of the month from 10:00am in Social Hall D (St. Francis Rm).

St. Gerard Circle – Social, Spiritual, Diverse, and Service-Minded! We help with the Ronald McDonald House, award a college scholarship, and collect school supplies for students in need.  Fundraiser: NCS used uniform sale (proceeds help parish groups and other charities).  We meet the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30p-9:00p in Social Hall A.

St. Jude Circle – Serves the Church (baptisms) and feeds the homeless at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on Thursdays.  Meets the second Sunday of the month from 12:00p-2:00p in Social Hall C2 (St. John Paul II Room).  Join us beforehand for donuts after 10:30a mass.

St. Monica Circle – We are a very social group with the Guild who is responsible for Baptism packets and feeding the homeless. We meet the first Wednesday of the month from 6:30p.

St. Rita Circle – Focuses on young women and mothers to enrich marriage and young family life while growing in faith & friendship.  Fundraisers: Summer Movie Night and Bunco Night.  Meets the second Tuesday of the month from 6:30p-9:00p in Social Hall D (St. Francis Room).

The Women's Guild purchased a statue of St. Joseph to place on their St. Joseph's Altar every year which benefits folks in need. When he is not on his altar, Joseph is on display with a statue of Mary in the Nativity Catholic School Office.
